MESSAGE FROM PUBLIC HEALTH KING COUNTY
Hello, please see the message below regarding ordering Clorox Wipes & Hand Sanitizers for Community Partners, Cities, Schools and King County Departments via Public Health King County. The deadline for these orders is Tuesday at 12pm. You may submit weekly requests.
The prioritization for the distribution of these items is based on our county’s commitment to implementing an equitable response to the COVID-19 pandemic, centered on community and health justice. The priority populations are those who have had disproportionately high COVID-19 incidence rates throughout the pandemic, disproportionately low vaccination rates since vaccines have been available, and higher rates of chronic health conditions that increase risk for severe outcomes such as hospitalization and death after infection with COVID-19. These are our historically underserved, socially vulnerable populations as well as programs and organizations that provide necessary services to these populations. Many of these populations are concentrated in South and Southeast King County and so much of our distribution focuses on organizations in those geographic areas.
Please use this form to request items from Public Health- Seattle & King County to share out in your work with the community, particularly with vulnerable populations most impacted by the pandemic or in areas with high transmission rates. These items are also available to cities, schools and King County departments while supplies last.
We cannot guarantee that you will receive the amount requested; however, we will attempt to fill requests as completely as possible. Please send in your submissions by 12:00 pm (noon) on Tuesday. Requests that come in past that time will be included in the following fulfillment order. For more information, please contact [email protected].
