Ethiopian Airline Canada Welcomes New Country Manager

Runta News- Toronto, Oct 01, 2019 – Ethiopian Airlines welcomes Mr. Samson Arega as the new Country Manager for Ethiopian Airlines Canada as of Sept 20, 2019. Mr. Arega started his career with Ethiopian Airlines and has been with the company since he graduated from university.

“I am delighted to have been granted this opportunity. I will be working hard to expand awareness of Ethiopian Airlines to Canadians. We have made such a positive impact over the past several years, and my goal is to continue to strengthen this momentum,” said Arega.

Mr. Arega has demonstrated leadership with effective and efficient management in all aspects of the airline’s operations. He has progressed through corporate leadership as Acting Manager, Passenger Sales in Addis Ababa, then as Country Manager in Kuwait.

Ethiopian Airlines currently flies direct from Toronto to Addis Ababa 5 times weekly. From Addis, Ababa passengers can connect to over 60 African destinations. Africa’s leading carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, has been steadily growing its international reach — now connecting to 125 destinations.

 “Keeping in line with our Vision 2025 strategic roadmap, we are looking to expand our Canadian and African network and growing the trade and tourism market. We have some exciting opportunities we are currently working on” added Mr. Arega.
